Manali graduated with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Southampton in 2010 and graduated with a Juris Doctor of Law from Singapore Management University in 2015. Manali has previously worked in Maersk Broker Singapore and Arrow Tankers, Singapore handling commercial matters as a shipbroker. As a shipbroker, she has actively negotiated and drawn up all terms/clauses within the charter-party contracts, fixed crude vessels on spot and time charters. Handled post-fixture operations including drawing up time-charter parties, execution of the charter-parties and settling all outstanding claims. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2017.
Manali handles a range civil and commercial litigation matters and has assisted in matters relating to among others, shipping and admiralty work (including vessel arrest), workmen injury and compensation claims, cargo claims, bunker disputes, oil and gas disputes, charterparty disputes, collision claims and general commercial disputes. Manali has been involved in advisory work in connection with, among others, limitation actions and shipyard disputes.
